North Wayne

The neighborhood where I grew up is a fascinating group of Victorian-era homes adjoining a commuter rail line. With houses designed by young architects who would later become extremely influential, North Wayne has many stories to tell. My continuing studies of the neighborhood include the influence of its investors, Anthony J. Drexel and George W. Childs, its builders, Wendell & Smith, and the architects who designed the homes.
